Evaluation Question 3: What have you learnt from you audience feedback?

I decided to create a post questionnaire for my target audience to complete in order to gain valuable audience feedback. The reason I chose to do a questionnaire as I was aware my target audience would be reluctant to give constructive criticism during a focus group. Therefore questionnaire would be the most productive as my target audience could give there honest opinion. I decided not to ask for participants names on the questionnaire as this will further encourage them to give their personal opinion.

We instructed the participants to view our short film production on our blog or YouTube (I gave them the appropriate link). After watching the short film the participants will be able to complete the questionnaire efficiently. I also considered that due to targeting a younger target audience the questions that I will need to ask should be simple and easy to understand, as creating a long detailed questionnaire would not be effective as participants would lose their attention and not complete the whole questionnaire. I decided to have 20 participants for the questionnaire as I believed this the suitable amount to get the most effective and realistic results. A small range of participants(less than 10) would not be effective as the results will not represent our target audience but each participant's personal opinion.

Below is the post questionnaire I produced: Post Production Questionnaire

Below is the graphs created for the questionnaire results and the analysis:

We also uploaded our production on YouTube is maximize the amount feedback we could get:

Facebook and Twitter

I also shared our production on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook. This enhanced our user feedback which helped us throughout the editing stage. This is due to friends on Facebook were able to give there opinion on strengths and weaknesses of the production. I considered all feedback and made the appropriate changes in order to make the production as professional as possible and to reach out to our target audience.

Initial Ancillary Task Ideas

Benefits of using Photoshop?

Colour Change
Photoshop gives even the most basic user the opportunity to create a colour palette of opportunity. Through some of Photoshop’s selection and colour tools, you can quickly change the colour of specific aspects of an image.

Touch Ups
Photoshop offers the benefit of touching up photos that may be otherwise ruined by an unwanted person or item in the background. This can be done by using the magnetic lasso tool.

Layers
Photoshop is one of the only graphics software programs that allow you to work in layers. Layers are a way of stacking designs, then removing or hiding them to see how your work looks. For example, on programmes such as Microsoft Paint, if you draw a line on an image, it becomes flattened on top of it and you can’t move it or add to it. In Photoshop, you can add a layer to your image, draw on top of it, then make any changes required.
